We are supporting three charities that directly affect members of our junior club. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is one of them, Matt on of our superstar juniors has CF.

Cystic Fibrosis is a condition where the mucus in the lungs and other organs is so thick and sticky that people with CF have regular infections and inpatient stays (Matt has had 6 in his life) and can
struggle to clear their lungs. 30 years ago people with CF were advised not to take part in sport and PE because it could damage their lungs! At this time people with CF had a very low life expectancy.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is a fantastic charity and they have used their donations to date to research the best ways to treat CF and they now understand that the best thing for people with CF is to do
more sport as it clears their lungs! Now people with CF can excel at sport like everyone else and Matt loves it! We still have to undergo thorough physio and treatment every morning and night and
Matt takes about 25 tablets a day! The CF Trust are now spending their donations on research for a cure so any money raised really will change lives! Please give whatever you can to support this fantastic charity which is very close to our hearts!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
