As part of my 50 swims before 50 challenge I will be taking part in the Shepperton Level Water 24hr relay. I’m late to the swimming party taking up lake swimming last summer. 

Having swam through the winter at the beautiful Mytchett lake I’m hoping this will be the time to ditch the wetsuit and enjoy the summer sun.

I have had the chance to appreciate the joy that being in the water can bring and feel that access to swimming should be available to all children of all abilities. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.
