A Wiseman's Tour

Who?

My name is Harry Wiseman, I’m 23 and I live and work in Hastings, UK.

What?

The goal is to cycle from the UK to China. (Hastings to Hong Kong)

In this self-funded tour, I’ll be passing through 20 countries spanning across 2 continents with a minimum of 12,000 miles to cover, the aim to is to complete the challenge in a year.

Why?

Purpose – Raising awareness and funds for the Campaign Against Living Miserably is incredibly important. CALM is a charity that is dedicated to preventing male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.

Having gone through some testing experiences myself I know the importance of having a support network around you during your darkest days, for men who are at a crisis point CALM is there to help.

In Memory – In 2011 my brother Tom passed away suddenly at the age of 21. Tom never got to travel the world so I will see it for the both of us.

The experience of losing my brother has made me especially passionate about supporting CALM and highlights the importance of such charities. I hope to use this terrible event as a way of motivating myself as I cycle across Eurasia.
