We Provide food & Essential items to Homeless & Vulnerable People in Scotland

Story

Women in Rail Scotland are running a social event which includes a sneak peek behind the scenes of one of Scotland's busiest train stations - Glasgow Central. The team who run the tours are allowing us to join a tour free of charge and in return we are encouraging a charitable donation to the Homeless Project Scotland.

The Homeless Project Scotland provide on average over 130,000 meals to the homeless and vulnerable each year and operate one of their largest soup kitchens under the arches of Glasgow Central Station. The WIR steering group felt that this was an appropriate and valuable charity to support - particularly to raise awareness and to support those who need it most in the winter months.
