Snowdon Hike · 21 October 2022

We tackle poverty with practical assistance to fight disadvantage

Story

For over 75 years a group of 45 children aged 9-11 are taken on a summer holiday to Snowdonia for an outdoor activity week run as the Wirral Camp.

The camp, which is based at an outdoor education centre and run entirely by volunteers, includes a wide range of activities, from arts and crafts to canoeing, from nerf games to gorge walking.

Every year we have to raise £16,000 to run this holiday. We raise this from a mix of grants and fundraising activities.

This year the volunteers have decided to band together to climb to the top of Snowdon to help chip away at that target and plant our Team Joe flag at the highest point in Wales.

We appreciate any support and donations to our target.

Thank you!
