Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi my name is Jack and I’m 14 years old. I have cerebral palsy. 4 years ago I was lucky enough to undergo an operation called SDR and after much physio therapy and rehab I learnt to walk. Whilst this is amazing my walking will never be perfect and I still use a wheelchair but this is ok as I have discovered wheelchair racing which I absolutely love. The only problem is, it’s expensive especially whilst I’m still growing. I am rapidly outgrowing my current chair and desperately need a new one... without it I will not be able to train or compete. One day I would like to represent Great Britain at the Paralympics. So I have decided to take part in a number of events to try and raise money. My first event will be on Sunday 1st of December. I will be doing 5km at Lake Dorney at the winter wonderwheels event. So if you can spare any pennies I will be forever grateful.

Thank you
