WHO ARE WE?

 

Hi this is Winnie from Hong Kong...Chew and Wayren from Singapore!!! We are the crazy second year medical students from the Newcastle University!

We believe our lives do not just revolve around studying and medical school. We are passionate about helping others in any way possible, and have chosen to support the organization KidsCan dedicated to treatment research for childhood cancer.

As young adults, we appreciate that everything we have now only happens because of what we were given when we were young. So here we are – we want to raise funds for the next generation, the young children who are in need, so that we can give them a new lease of life.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

The idea is simple. We have to get as far as we can from Newcastle within 30 hours while raising funds for KidsCan and spreading the word about the positive contributions it makes to kids afflicted with childhood cancer!

This is done in a time limit of 30 hours and the challenge is for us to travel without spending a single cent; our transport to any destination in the world will come entirely out of goodwill. Previous winners have been to New York, Germany and even Australia! We have faith in humanity (and our charm), hence we are rising up to the challenge.

WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?

In addition, we would also like to fundraise for KidsCan. We assure you that all your donations will go to this worthy charity!

For each donation we receive from you, you can put in a request for us to do something. Whether it be a dare for us to suck on our toes, or a nomination for us to give out free hugs...we'll try our best to do it! And we'll provide you with proof through videos or pictures!
