Story
In November, the world lost a vibrant soul: Dylan Robinson, my Godson, who departed at the tender age of 15. His absence left a void in the hearts of many.
With the blessings of the Robinson, Barnes, Dunlop, and Rosemurgey families, I’ve established this page as my way of keeping Dylan’s name alive. It’s more than a campaign; it’s a promise to uphold the dreams and aspirations of a boy whose laughter could illuminate even the darkest rooms.
This year, I embark on a mission for Every Youth, an organisation that embodies belief in the boundless potential of every young adult. Their core aim resonates with our collective hope: to support young adults.
The number 15 is not merely a numerical value; it’s a symbol of the years Dylan graced this world with his presence. It serves as the theme for my 2024 challenge, during which I’ll cover 180 kilometers—echoing the adventurous and courageous years of Dylan’s life.My itinerary includes a 40-kilometer walk through the Yorkshire Dales in April.
Then, in June, a 50-kilometer trek awaits: I’ll journey from the picturesque coastal town of Caernarfon to the foot of Wales’ highest mountain, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). From there, I’ll scale this iconic peak, a journey that will challenge and inspire in equal measure, before returning by bike to the starting point.
The second half of 2024 holds aspirations yet to be unveiled.
This monumental challenge marks my first venture into such territory. It’s a personal odyssey to keep Dylan’s memory alive. Through training updates, videos, and content across various platforms, I invite you to join me on this journey.
Your support isn’t just a donation; it’s a tribute to Dylan’s life and a beacon of hope for countless young adults. Together, let’s turn grief into action and action into a legacy that lives on: #Forever15.
Thank you for being a part of this story.
