Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you know, I have spent the past year getting fit and losing weight and as part of that took up running. I have secured a place in the 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon taking place on the 3rd October and am running in aid of SANDS, the stillbirth and neo-natal death charity.

October is always a difficult month for my wife and me as it is when we lost our son, Robert, who was stillborn in October 2014. October also includes Baby Loss Awareness Week so I feel that SANDS is the perfect charity to support for this event.

SANDS is a brilliant charity that works to support anyone affected by the death of a baby; improve the care bereaved parents receive; and create a world where fewer babies die.

I very much hope that you feel able to support me and this brilliant charity.
