Story

We're raising money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit); and would really appreciate  any donations that you are able to spare – to help motivate us to push on through the last few weeks of training, and (most importantly) to help us to support a great cause that is making a real difference to children and families within the West Midlands area.

Between us we’ve had varying degrees of contact with Birmingham Children’s Hospital throughout the years, and have nothing but awe and respect for the people that work there; the patients they treat; and the families that are often dealing with the most testing of circumstances.

The PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) is particularly close to the heart of Pascal (as his wife works there) - and knowing the nature of the work undertaken within the unit, it was an easy decision to push our fundraising efforts in their direction.

Thanks,

Team SoE (Matt Goddard, Stuart Wilson, Julie White, Pascal Rogé, Matt Linekar, Noel Cafferty and Scott Hoare)

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
