Story

Very sadly Dad - Willy Cave - passed away on 13 March at the age of 95. He lived a full and incredible life as a broadcaster, rally navigator, skier, pilot and sailor. He will be very much missed by his daughters, Rosy and Vici, and his grandchildren, George and Scarlett, as well as wider family and friends. Dad adored watching the swans on the pond outside his house and was always interested in their welfare. Following their progress was particularly important during Covid lockdowns and later when Dad’s reduced mobility meant he was at home more. The Swan Sanctuary helps out whenever they are sick or injured and Dad would have welcomed his friends, family and former colleagues supporting their work.
