Why you should support this amazing charity and me!

Meningitis Research Foundation is a brilliant charity - based in the UK, but working on a worldwide scale to try and eliminate meningitis and septicaemia from taking lives on a daily basis. These two deadly diseases can kill in a matter of hours and can affect anyone at any age – babies, children under the age of 5 and young people are especially vulnerable. On a worldwide scale, meningitis and septicaemia affect 1000 people a day, either killing them or severely disabling them.

If our team and I are successful, the money raised will have a huge affect on all sufferers with meningitis and septicaemia. It shall allow victims to meet and gain support in dealing with the effects of these dreadful diseases. The money will also go to improving the research and development of treatment towards these diseases and eventually eliminating them entirely.

This expedition is a once in a life-time opportunity, allowing me to trek to the top of the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated and will allow me to complete this amazing journey whilst helping a brilliant charity!
