Williams Page - Neuroblastoma

Rebecca Spearpoint is raising money for CCLG: The Children & Young People’s Cancer Association
In memory of William Spearpoint
The Neuroblastoma Research fund at CCLG is raising money for pioneering new research into neuroblastoma - a rare type of cancer that commonly affects young children.

Story

We’re raising money for the Neuroblastoma Research Fund because we want to help the young children diagnosed with neuroblastoma.Neuroblastoma is a rare type of cancer that mostly affects children under the age of five. Fewer than 100 children in the UK are diagnosed each year with neuroblastoma. There is no known cause. Please help us to raise money for neuroblastoma research, so that more young lives can be saved.

Rather than flowers and other tributes for William, we would really appreciate donations to this worthy cause.

Shortly after birth, William was diagnosed as having an enlarged liver and tumours in his abdomen as a result of neuroblastoma. He was cared for and treated by the intensive care and oncology teams at Addenbrookes Hospital. King’s College Hospital gave their expert advice regarding liver treatment. Unfortunately, William’s liver was too badly damaged to survive. We hope that donations to this cause will assist with further research and the development of new treatments to save more lives and also answer the question as to why?

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, Scott, Becki & Arthur xxx
