Story

To give you some background on why I have chosen to run for
St Luke’s, over the past few years I have seen first-hand the brilliant work that St Luke’s does on a daily basis.

4 years ago we lost a dear friend to us all Jai Purkiss-Wint. Last year I also lost my grandfather Trevor Sturt. Both of which battled Cancer for years and both directly benefited from the support and care that St Luke's offers to all its patients.

Over the time of their illnesses I was able to see what a massive help St Luke’s Hospice is and how important the service that they provide helps people that are suffering from terminal illnesses and on palliative care. Also, giving the families affected, the vital care and support that is needed to help not just them but their loved ones.
