Story
Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
Like everything I don’t like doing things by halves, pushing my mind and body to its limits, so I’ve taken on another challenge and entered the London Marathon 2022…
I will be running in aid of Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice, a place that has touched mine and many people hearts recently. As some of you will know my Mum and Auntie work here. Having an insight into the care and support her, her team and all Wheatfields staff offer on a daily basis is incredible, from community care, the in-patient unit to day therapy they give their whole hearts to their job ensuring every patients get the care, support and respect they deserve. Nothing is ever too much for this team of superstars, therefore I feel as though I should push myself to my limit and raise money for such a worthy cause.
Please give what you can to support this cause and drive this crazy decision of mine!
