Story
As some of you may or may not know my Dad passed away in March of 2015. Since then it has been a very personal battle to come to terms with how it has affected my view on life and the relationship I have with the people around me.
As even less of you know a form of escape for me running. The time alone is something not a lot of us get to have a lot of and therefore something I don’t take for granted.
From this, I have decided to run in the London Landmarks Half Marathon this April. Days after what would be the 8th anniversary of my dad's passing. This will be the first time I have done something directly in his memory.
I can appreciate that for some running a half marathon is easy. For others it is mountain they never thought they could climb. For me it is a chance to remember and to help other families that are still going on their own journeys.
Please donate what you can as every small amount is appreciated.
