Story
In 2011 I was diagnosed with cancer on my right tonsil, went through 10 weeks of hell, chemo and radiotherapy. In 2014 I was given the all clear on the growth in my throat. Then at the end of 2017 and most of 2018, I developed soft aspirational phenomena of which I had 12 visits to hospital, in all this time my wife and carer put up with all my dark moments, made light of the days I did not think I would survive, kept me going when it was easier to give up. Earlier this year with the thanks to Lincoln County Head & Neck Nurses, I was introduced to The Swallows Support Group. Now I am passing forward all the help and support I was given, by raising funds for the The Swallows Carers project, (please visit The Swallows web site : www.theswallows.org.uk ) as you can see I have an excuse of a tash under my nose, that by waxing will be removed on the evening of the 20th December at Carholme Golf club, please give freely or if you are in the area and would love a laugh come along and have a go at waxing, which will cost you more, but think on the satisfaction.
