Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This page has been set up so people can make donations to Rainbows instead of sending flowers to William's funeral, and also support us taking part in the Rainbows Walk of Life.
On 8 June 2014 William left this life peacefully and with dignity, at Rainbows Hospice with the family who loved him dearly there for his final moments.
Rainbows Hospice and the people who work there had been a part of not only William's life, but also the other members of his family, since he was a little boy.
We always knew William wasn't strong enough to stay with us forever, and did what we could to cram as many life experiences into whatever time we had. Thankfully William defied the doctors expectations and we had the privilege of having him here with us for almost four special years, and we have many memories to look back on in the years to come.
Being at the hospice for the final phase of his life, with his mummy, daddy and sisters here with him, meant the final days were the best they could have been.
On 29 June the Rainbows Walk of Life is taking place, celebrating 20 years of the hospice. This would have been William's 4th birthday, and taking part in this feels like the best way to celebrate the life of our beautiful boy.
If you are able to support us, and raise money in William's memory so other families can receive the support that has helped our family so much, that would mean the world to us. Thank you.
