Story
The Frank Haines Memorial Trust was set up five years ago, to support youth work with deprived and vulnerable children in Tower Hamlets, East London. As one of the Trustees, I've seen at first hand how much difference the Trust's support makes, via a number of projects, which provide safe evening activities and support for children. You can download the most recent Frank Haines Memorial Trust newsletter here, to read more about the charities that it supports: http://potlatch.typepad.com/files/fhmt-newsletter-2011.pdf
This Saturday, I'll be joining a sponsored cycle-ride across the North Norfolk countryside, to raise funds for the Trust. Being a curmudgeon who doesn't like joining in, least of all in physically demanding activities, this is worse for me than for most people, so please give even more generously!
