Eye to Eye · 28 March 2021 ·
Every 15 minutes, someone in the UK starts to lose their sight.
Already, over 2 million people across the country live with impaired vision - with that number set to double over the next 30 years. Which makes fundraising events such as Eye to Eye so important.
Eye to Eye is Moorfields Eye Charity's flagship event where supporters come together and walk to raise money for Moorfields and its academic partner, the Institute of Ophthalmology. It's a wonderful day where colleagues, family and friends walk together to show their love for Moorfields.
On Sunday 4th April (Originally Sunday 28th of March) , I will be walking 15 miles through some of central London's canal network to raise awareness for the charity.
For the first time, we are also offering our fundraisers the option of walking a virtual route so it doesn't matter where in the world they are, they can join #TeamMoorfields. Our researchers, staff and patients need you to help save peoples sight.
By walking, you'll be support Moorfields create a future without sight loss. Thank you.
