Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My friend Felicity Farrell passed away in her sleep in 2008 aged only 15 years old from epilepsy. Her family only found out seven months before when she was diagnosed with the condition and were never made aware of the severity of epilepsy.

I had only known her two years prior to her passing away but what I remember of her was an outgoing, friendly person who loved to have fun and get involved in all activities. I believe through that period of time, I made friends with a fantastic, pure soul and it shook me to the core when i received the news that fateful day. I wish to believe I had a postive impact on her life as she definitely had a profound one on mine.

I want to raise the awareness of SUDEP and through Epilepsy Action maybe we can prevent a lot more familes from having to go through the pain that the Farrell family have endured.
