This weekend I will be in Rothes, my hometown, attending a charity event, and the occasion really couldn’t be closer to home for me.

One of the original organisers of the event was my Dad, who we sadly lost to cancer last month. We discovered how ill my dad was in June and with such devastating news we didn’t know where to turn. Like a lot of people, I’ve donated to various cancer charities regularly without ever really appreciating what amazing work they do. Until now.

Please come along for a day of family fun and celebrate two causes very close to my heart. 

The Event

We have 11 pairs that have nominated themselves to play golf continuously for 24 hours taking on all comers during the day and continuing through the night in a two person scramble challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK and Rothes Golf Club.

We are now looking for challengers to take part in the competition, we ask for a donation (entry fee) of £100 per pair with fantastic prizes on offer down to 10th place. First prize is a 4 ball at Gleneagles Golf Club. They will also be given a food and drink voucher for the day.*
