We are the MS Society. We are strong enough to stop MS together.

Story

In April 2012, Will and Jim Hardy - identical twins from Lincoln, England - will be taking part in the 27th Marathon des Sables.

Along with 800 other competitors from around the world we will be running 150 miles, the equivalent of six regular marathons, across the Sahara desert.

Carrying everything we need to for the journey, having to deal with 45-degree temperatures, and running on sand - this week long ultra marathon is considered by many as 'the toughest footrace in the world!'

In the process of completing the MdS we are also hoping to raise £8,000 for The Multiple Sclerosis Society. Our father has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis for over 15 years, so we feel very passionately about raising money for a cause so close to home.

We thank you in advance for any donation given.
