Story
Over 12 million people in the UK have a lung condition and there's a new diagnosis every minute. I'm running the 2022 London Marathon for the British Lung Foundation, the only UK charity looking after the nation's lungs. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world without lung disease. Just £12 allows one of the BLF's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice.
This is a cause that is extremely close to my heart, as my father lost his fight with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) earlier this year. Having witnessed the destruction that lung disease can cause first hand, I would like to make a contribution towards the research needed to find a cure and the support needed for patients and families affected.
Any donation small or large would mean the world to me.
Big love,
Will
