Welcome to our London Marathon team page! We have nine amazing runners aiming to raise over £13,000 to support vital research into Trauma and Orthopaedics, transforming lives and giving people back their freedom and independence.

Story

Did you know there are over 20 million people in the UK living with a musculoskeletal condition? That's about a third of the population. And its not limited to the elderly. Children and young people suffer too, with 11 per cent of those affected being under 35. Sadly, the odds are that we or someone close to us will suffer from a musculoskeletal disorder, be involved in a major limb trauma, or have joint replacement surgery at some point in our lives. Advances in trauma and orthopaedic care are driven through dynamic and innovative research.

I will be partaking in the England Iron Man (Bolton) in July and the London Marathon in October to raise funds for this fantastic and invaluable cause.

For someone who works in the Life Science's industry, research and support from charities is so  vital in the fight to help people lead their best lives. It's my honor to represent the BOA and hope to contribute to their amazing work.
