Last year, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s network provided more than 1.6 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis. More than half a million of these went to children. It’s not right that people can’t afford the basics. With your help, we can help end the need for food banks. As a nation, we expect no one should be left hungry or destitute. For nearly 20 years, our Christmas card recipients have had the added bonus of a puzzle to ponder over the holiday. Some look forward to it; some rather dread it; often it gets used to light a fire or is simply thrown away. This year, we thought we’d try to put the puzzle to good use, by raising money for the Trussell Trust. There’s no obligation to donate, but if you’d like to join us, we’d be pleased if you did.
