Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have just finished walking 260 miles around the boundary of the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. It was roughly a half marathon every day for 22 days, with 66,000 feet of ascent & descent and all food and camping gear on my back.
My main motivation is to raise as much money as I can for The Cure Parkinson's Trust.
The National Park is relatively new (2003) and as far as I know this route has never been walked before.
260 miles is quite a long way, but it's nothing compared to the 4,500 miles Tom Isaacs, the founder of the Cure Parkinson's Trust, walked round the coast of Britain while battling with the disease.
Parkinson's is a horrible disease that is terribly debilitating and isolating - but every day progress is being made to find a cure.
Anything you can offer to help, however big or small, would be fantastic - and I can't thank you enough!
