After finishing the Notts half-marathon in Sept 2009 I decided that I would never be able to put myself through a marathon. Erm... I then promptly signed up for the Stockholm marathon on a whim. A quick phone call later and Cat was on board. Training has been eractic/ slow/ painful but a new baby in the house gives me a good excuse to get out for some peace and quiet (just kidding Anna). Anyway, any excuse to buy new trainers and hopefully the plasters and tape that are holding me together will get me through 26 miles. In all seriousness, the chance to do something for a charity that bears the name of someone as strong as my Auntie June was means a lot and hopefully I can do everyone proud.
