Story
We're passionate about the protection of big cats in the wild. Rare and wondrous, can you imagine a world without beautiful wild cats like the Amur Leopard or the tiger?
As apex predators, tigers stand as guardians of the forest and are crucial to the survival of a balanced ecosystem in the forests of Asia. With effective conservation, tiger numbers can recover but with fewer than 5,000 tigers left in the wild, much more needs to be done.
What about Amur leopards?
Amur leopards share an overlapping range with Amur tigers. Numbering approximately 100 individuals, they are the world’s most endangered big cat. By supporting the conservation of one of these charismatic species you are directly helping the other.
Conservation is working for the Amur leopard. A decade ago, there were less than 30 individuals on the brink of extinction. Concerted efforts by the governments of Russia and China and the conservation organisations that work with them have made a difference. But much more needs to be done to ensure long-term survival.
Help us protect these precious cats and restore a balanced biodiversity for the future of wildlife, people and planet.
Providing a future for wild tigers and Amur leopards is in our hands - together we can protect these beautiful cats and the habitats they safeguard.
