Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are a team of WIKA employees

Keith Woolnough, Ian Collins, Tony Sweetman, Richard Campbell & John Hardy

on a mission to raise some funds for Coeliac UK. After one of our children was diagnosed with Coeliac disease last October, it became apparent how difficult it is for Coeliacs to find food safe to eat when not eating at home, and how mis-understood the effects of gluten are by most people. We are hoping that our fundraising will help raise awareness so that Coeliacs can enjoy a more normal life, and fund research into finding a cure or medication to counter the effects of gluten.

We will be taking on a challenge of climbing 10 peaks in the Lake District, starting at New Dungeon Ghyll and making our way over to Scafell Pike, with a total ascent of 6846ft, more than climbing Scafell Pike twice! We hope that you will support us in this challenge to raise money for a very worthy cause.
