Story
Wightmans Winners, consisting of Team Captain: Michael May, Team members:David Wightman, Adam Hawkes and Nick Lindley are taking part in the Hope and Homes for Children Rowathon Challenge.
The Challenge:
A timed challenge, where us four team members will be rowing over a 2km course side by side. Our four Concept2 rowing machines are linked, so our team’s overall boat speed and finishing time is generated by our combined efforts.
The Story:
All the money we raise will helptransform the lives of vulnerable children, their families and, ultimately, their communities. Hope and Homes for Children works tirelessly to keep
families together, reunite families and build new families—so every child can
grow up with the love and protection of a family, and never in the confines and
neglect of an orphanage.
Orphanages don’t protect children, they harm them! Every meter that we row will help Hope and Homes for Children ensure vulnerable children can always grow up in loving families, never orphanages.
Join us, support us and let’s see what can be achieved together. You can find out more about the harm of orphanages, and the work of Hope and Homes for Children, at

In addition to his, for every £1 we raise The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation will
match. Meaning every £1 is worth £2.
All donations are extremely welcome and gratefully received. No matter how big or small, they will make a huge difference for the Charity.
