2012 is the year of the Olympics in Britain and The Tim Reeve Charitable Trust are to hold their second dragon boat event - the Essex Dragon Boat Games. It's taking place on Sunday 8th July on the river Chelmer in the middle of Chelmsford, as part of the Olympic torch celebrations. We're going to build on the success of the 2010 World Cup event, 32 teams will compete, each adopting a sport from the games. There'll be a race every 10 minutes from 10am to 5pm, entertainment for young and old, live music and lots more to see and do. A fun day for all the family, competitors and spectators alike.
