If you are reading this you are already half way to donating to the most worthy cause of the year!

Myself, Kevin Bryan and my good friend Ben Roper will be undertaking an official World Record attempt adjudicated by the guys who make the black drink who wont allow us to use their name unless we pay them over £300. From now on they shall be known as FRED.

The record attempted will be the FRED world record for the longest Darts Singles Marathon in the history of the world.

Now we both know that dedication is what you need if you wanna be a record breaker... but with the sad demise of both Norris McWerter and Roy Castle we may be reliant on Chris Akabussi and Cheryl Baker to motivate us on the mammoth 48 hour challenge!!!

Thats right we shall be playing darts for 48 continuous hours!!

As you may have guessed by now we are not doing this purely to appear in the big book of FRED World Records next to the worlds biggest pizza and just after the world most extravagant moustache, there is a very worthy cause we would like to benefit greatly!!

This cause is Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. We will be starting this World record attempt at 9pm on Wednesday 9th November at the Pied Bull public house in Shepshed, Leicestershire. A mere 48 hours later at 9pm on the 11th November we hope to be crowned as the FRED World record holders for the singles darts marathon!!

We would now like to ask you to dig deep into your pockets, purses, wallets, down the back of the sofa... anywhere you may have some loose change and donate generously to the cause.

Anyone wishing to attend at any point during the event is most welcome and there will be a fundraising event on the night of the 11th November in celebration of our anticipated success which will consist of such events as.... Live Music, Raffles, Play your cards right, and many other fun activities designed to extract the maximium amount of donations from the generous people of the East Midlands and beyond!!
