The Challenge: I will run/walk/crawl the full
West Highland Way from Glasgow (Milngavie) to Fort William in a
weekend. The route is 154km long, that's more than 3.5 marathons
with a few hills thrown in for fun. I'll start about 4pm on Friday
16
th April and finish on Sunday 18
th April. Some might think it's a crazy challenge, but with your support and donations
it will be worth it!
My Inspiration: Last March I met 10 year old Dawit at a Vision Aid Overseas clinic who was virtually blind.
He lived in a remote village in Southern Ethiopia and had walked
nearly 50km to the clinic guided by his father. Thankfully we were
able to help him; the only reason he couldn't see was because he was
very short sighted and needed glasses. Dawit's situation was not
unique, 670 million people are disadvantaged by poor vision and a
lack of access to glasses.
