The west highland way gravel challenge · 11 July 2021

Our research starts with the heart but it doesn't stop there. Join us to travel on an epic virtual ride in July 2021 for our 60th Anniversary.

Story

We are raising money for the British Heart Foundation and we would be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can. We will post updates on our goal to ride the iconic West Highland Way on our gravel bikes in single push, from Glasgow to Fort William. We aim, weather permitting, to do the ride on the 24th July. 160 km and 3400 mt of climbing. Whilst there are online reports of this having been done on mountain bikes, we could not find any mention of the WHW completed with gravel bikes. So this very well might be a world first!

All donations are welcome - even the smallest amount will go a long way!

Thanks!
