Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

We're 25 people who are cycling round the coast of Northern Ireland to raise funds for Save the Children's work in Syria. They are providing practical help to families and children affected by the war - warm clothes and blankets to people who have had to leave their homes, flour to bakeries to ensure people can make bread, and setting up temporary schools with back to school kits of pencils and work books so displaced children can carry on their education and regain some routine. They are also setting up 'child friendly spaces' for children who have been caught up in the conflict where they can learn to play again in a comforting environment, talk about their experiences and spend time with trusted caregivers from their own community. We've all seen the pictures on television and in the papers and so we wanted to do what we can through a trusted charity. We'd love it if you could support us with whatever you can - it only takes a moment and it's a safe and secure way to donate.
