Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Whitgift School is once again raising money for YoungMinds to support youth mental health to mark this year’s World Mental Health Day. We continue to raise awareness about the need for increased support of mental health issues arising from the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as issues relating to the unequal world in which we live. This year’s World Mental Health Day highlights the mental health challenges faced by those suffering from inequality due to race, sexual orientation, disability, gender, economic inequality and religion. We are delighted that these strands of our Diversity and Inclusion programme are continuing to raise awareness and promote dialogue for those for whom these issues form part of their daily struggle.

This year we will be running a series of fundraising events in school on Monday 11th October, and hope you will join us in wearing a splash of yellow to demonstrate your solidarity in supporting youth mental health and the #HelloYellow campaign. Please give generously, both in school and online, and continue the important conversations around supporting good mental health for all.
