Whitchurch Canonicorum - St. Candida and Holy Cross

Saturday, 11th September 10 am Meet at St Candida and bring a  picnic lunch for 8-10 mile walk finishing with tea (kindly provided by Whitchurch PCC) at 4pm back at St Candida.

Ride+Stride is an annual event during which our supporters raise money for DHCT and for their own church by riding, cycling or walking, running and tractoring, between our beautiful and interesting churches and chapels. DHCT uses half the money raised (£112,528 in 2020) to fund vital repairs to roofs, windows and fabric while the other half is returned to nominated churches - in our case St Candida and Holy Cross -  to help with their own maintenance. DHCT also grant aid the provision of facilities such as kitchenettes and lavatories so that our churches are more usable throughout the week for community activities.
