Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit this page and choosing to donate to a cause extremely close to my heart. Your generosity and kindness is very much appreciated as it will contribute to the fight against something which has a crippling effect on so many of us and our loved ones.
In the early hours of August 31, 2014, we lost my dad Jim after a long battle against cancer. His passing was expected after his condition deteriorated in the last few weeks of his life but was still every bit as devastating as you would expect and we dearly miss him. He played a massive part in our lives and the void he has left will never be filled.
Prior to his death, I had pledged to climb to the summits of 64 Munros in the year my dad would be 64, dating from January 7 to January 6. The objective while doing so was to raise money for a number of cancer charities but given the Beatson Cancer Charity is the only one affiliated to an organisation he got regular help from, that's the only cause I'm now supporting. While my dad is no longer with us, the challenge remains to complete 64 Munros in the allotted time because it's what he would have wanted me to do and my hope is the proceeds will help others have a chance of survival he ultimately never got.

Thank you for your support.
