Story
Around 6 years ago, I was diagnosed with a rare genetic retina problem which is causing the loss of my central vision in both eyes, although hopefully I will retain my peripheral vision. Currently there is no treatment or cure for this conditon, although there is some ongoing research, but I am lucky that the progression has been relatively slow.
The consultants, nurses and all staff in Moorfields are nothing less than brilliant so Team Wheeliebins is taking on the 15 miles walk to say thank you to Moorfields for the support they give to those living with sight loss.
Every little bit you can give will make such a huge difference to innovation in eye care, educating the next generation of experts, their precious NHS staff and patient care. Because Moorfields Eye Charity believe people's sight matters- and so do I.
It's a cause that is close to my heart so dig deep and give if you can.
Thank you.
