I remember travelling to Phoenix College by bus for classes. It was the middle of summer and, as someone new to this country, I was not prepared for the scorching desert heat. Luckily, I only had to manage the heat and was not wondering whether I should spend what little money I had to pay for return bus fare or buy lunch. I was fortunate but many of PC's current students have just that decision to make every day.

The pandemic has been hard on all of us and PC students are no exception. If you are in a fortunate position, please consider paying it forward by buying a PC student (or two) a lunch so that they can get down to the business of studying and working for their dreams.
