We are fundraising to support North Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (NSDAS) - our Charity of the Year 2022
In August we are going to be running a sponsored event - “North Surrey Dash” a distance event, asking our members to cover the circumference of North Surrey at 125km/77 miles during the month of August.
You will log the distances yourself however you prefer to track, with a fitbit, pen & paper, on excel etc.
You can cover the distance however you like, it as a walk, run, cycle, swim, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, roller skating, feel free to get creative.
North Surrey Abuse Service provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice to anyone aged 16 or above affected by domestic abuse living in the boroughs of Epsom & Ewell, Elmbridge and Spelthorne.We also provide an IDVA (independent domestic violence advocate) Outreach Service that provides practical advice and emotional support which includes: - keeping yourself safe- relationship issues- separation- housing issues- welfare benefit entitlement- child contact issues- civil orders and injunctions- immigration- support through the criminal process- advice about the Specialist Domestic Violence CourtWe also have a childrens service open to children (5-16 years old) of survivors of domestic abuse living in Elmbridge, Spelthorne, Epsom and Ewell.
