My mum worked as a Mcmillan nurse, then ended up being cared for by Mcmillan nurses at the end of her life. Most of them we her friends. As a family we have relied on support from organisations like Mcmillan during the hardest times of our lives.

Me and some old friends are doing a marathon over the downs to help repay some of that support and in memory of one of the teams wife, who was also taken too early by the disease.
