Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Stowmarket Volunteer Police Cadets JustGiving page.

In May this year PCSO David Harvey, who is one of our cadet leaders, unfortunately suffered a heart attack following the loss of his father. David was admitted to West Suffolk Hospital and treated by the Cardiac Unit. To recognise the vital role it played in treating David, the cadets and leaders have chosen to raise money for the unit by undertaking a sponsored walk.

We have also decided to split any money raised with the MacMillan Unit, which has played an important part in recent bereavements connected with the families of cadets and leaders alike

The cadets are all aged between 13 and 18 years old and will be walking 15 miles on Saturday 8th July from Stowmarket to West Suffolk Hospital in aid of the My Wish Charity (which is the registered charity of West Suffolk Hospital and will split the money raised between the two units).

We have set a respectable target to reach and hope you can support us by donating.

Many thanks in advance and don't forget you can follow our progress on Twitter @StowmarketVPC
