My life changed when my little brother Noah became very unwell almost two years ago. I was so scared he would die. He spent his 2nd birthday at hospital. Doctors told us he had diabetes and he will have to be on medicine called insulin for the rest of his life. I am scared for him everytime he feels unwell and that Noah will not be able to have a life like other children and like me.

My biggest dream is that one day doctors will be able to cure this terrible illness.

I love my brother so much but life is so difficult with diabetes.

I want to help to find the cure for him and other children. Please please help me!

Above is the story I heard from my friends' daughter. Her younger brother Noah was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and since then his and his family life has changed completely.

In the last weekend of October together with my brother we'll run/walk the magnificent West Highland Way. This 155km / 96 miles long trek starts in Milngavie and passes through most beautiful parts of Scotland all the way to Fort William.

This is perfect oportunity to raise some money for the number one charity helping fight type 1 diabetes - JDRF. Their vision is world without type 1 diabetes. 

They've funded more than $2 billion in research to date and made significant progress in understanding and fighting the disease.

We'll be closing this site on 14/11/2017 which is the World Diabetes Day.
