We raise funds for ex-service personnel to provide social and horticultural therapy

Story

Veterans’ Growth works with veterans suffering with mental health issues, providing treatment and support using social and therapeutic horticulture. The physical and mental health benefits of horticulture have been widely reported. Participants gain confidence, knowledge and experience and some will go on to find work experience and employment within the industry. We are committed to supporting every veteran in the UK who wants to attend and/or is unable to access help through other channels.

Westfield Christmas Lights was started back in December 1975 when Mr& Mrs Munday and Mr& Mrs Tomsett put some lights up on their house's.

This was then followed by a few neighbours and over the years this has grown and grown into a fantastic display of lights in the whole village.

The light display starts from the 1st of December 2023 through to New Year’s Day and is from 17.00-21.00 each night in Westfield Village TN35 4SW for everyone to enjoy a spectacular display of Christmas lights. Experience the most festive village in the whole of Sussex! To date Westfield's annual light display has raised an incredible £116,163.40 !! for local charities.

We are raising money for two smaller charities this year so we are going to support a charity in St Leonards on Sea

& Also a Charity in our own village of Westfield
