Story
Hi and Thank You for visiting my page! Throughout 2020 I will be taking on the Fundraise 2020 year long campaign in order to try and raise £2020 for the Royal British Legion. I will be doing this alongside other members of the RBL National Professionals Branch, who as individual members are all doing something different, but we're all working together to raise the funds to support the legion and its vital work for the veteran and forces community.
What is Fundraise 2020?
Fundraise 2020 is a year-long campaign from the National Professionals Branch of the RBL , which gives the opportunity for members of the branch (old or new) to challenge themselves through any means they wish.
What am I going to do, and why?
The first challenge I have signed myself up to is the Western Front Trek. I’ve signed up to walk 50 miles over 3 days along the historic battlefields of the World Wars and the challenging terrain of the Western Front in France. I'll be raising money for veterans, service men, women and their families. The Royal British Legion offers lifelong support to those who need help, and I am keen to take on this challenge to do my part in supporting their work. In case you’re not familiar with the variety of work that The Royal British Legion undertake it’s surprisingly varied but most importantly they care for the whole family of those affected by the impact of service life. They help to ensure the highest quality of care for those suffering physical and mental issues and help families that need time to reconnect. Your donation will mean The Legion can ensure the best quality rehabilitation and support for all. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity. I really appreciate your support and good wishes – it encourages me to train hard and try my hardest to help those that have sacrificed so much. Thank You.
