We support marginalised children worldwide to realise their rights through education
Story
The Russian invasion has already caused an estimated 900,000 refugees to flee the country, crossing borders not only to Poland and Hungary, but also to Romania and Moldova - countries where Children on the Edge first began over 30 years ago, and where they worked from 1990 to 2012.
Children on the Edge is still in close contact with local partner organisations in these areas who are urgently requesting help to support the Ukrainian families arriving daily, providing them with food, shelter and clothing. The pressing need at the moment is for donations to help heat and run the centre where refugees are being hosted in Chișinău.
Westbourne House has had a close relationship with Children on the Edge, which is also based in Chichester, over the past 10 years and your help in supporting the charity at this devastating time is hugely valued.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
