Story
For fundraising on the day
Friday 20th August 2010 will see a group of West Yorkshire Police employees embark on a grueling cycle challenge across West Yorkshire in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The challenge starts at the home of Leeds Rhinos in Headingley and then sees us cycling across West Yorkshire to each of the Super League Stadiums, our first point of call will be the Jungle, the home of Castleford Tigers, then on to Wakefield Wildcats, Huddersfield Giants, Bradford Bulls and finally back to the home of Leeds Rhinos where the challenge concludes.
A journey of over 50 miles in just one day, which to some may not seem a lot, but to us casual cyclists is a marathon (or two)
We are raising funds for the vital service that the Yorkshire Air
Ambulance provide, and are asking for you to dig deep and help us raise
as much money as possible!
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance rely completely on charitable donations to operate as they receive no government funding.
