One morning sitting at on the patio outside, all Josh had to his name was half a pack of cigarettes. Josh had lost it all due to addiction. In his time here at Fifth Street, Josh worked hard. He even made his way to resident staff as a cook in the kitchen. Josh says, "Fifth Street is where I completely changed my life around and got back on my feet again. I made a promise to never go down the road that brought me there again but also to help people who have gotten to that point." Josh has now been at his job for two years and is even the foreman of his department. He has his own house: "I can't tell you how good it feels to say my house...Fifth Street helped me get here. And I am so grateful for that."
